Erica founded Nature’s Wisdom in 2016 with the intention of supporting clients in improving wellness through traditional naturopathic methods - nutrition, supplementation, herbal preparations, and bodywork. What she found was frustration, both for herself and her clients.
Though this approach would help to a point, there always seemed to be a plateau that was tough to surpass. It was when she took her first class in Holistic Counseling in 2017 with Dr. Moeshe Block, ND, that Erica was awakened to the intrinsic connection between the mind and body.
Since then, Erica has persistently sought to learn and experience new ways to catalyze transformation toward harmony for the whole person. Through her personal healing journey, she has come to believe that our patterns of thought and behavior affect our capacity to feel health and vitality. Through sharing principles of psychology, breathwork, somatic exploration, and bodywork she guides clients to find their own inner healer, to reconnect with their authentic selves, and to cultivate well-being in body, mind, and spirit.
Though this path is not linear, and the process of unlearning old behaviors can be disregulating by nature, Erica wants her clients to know that they don’t have to do this work alone. It’s her mission to provide a safe container that is void of judgement, where clients feel seen and heard, can share their story, set down shame, and experience personal growth.
Erica holds a B.S. in Biology and was further trained at the Naturopathic Institute of Therapies & Education as well as the Vitalist School of Psychospiritual Transformation. Additionally, she has also studied Western Herbalism, Breathwork, Somatic Coaching, Reichian Character Structure, Sound Therapy, and Reiki Energy Work and continues to deepen and expand her knowledge in the healing arts.
