I want to acknowledge that we are all experiencing the push and pull of warring emotions, ranging from fear to anger, to sadness, to gratitude, and everything in between as we navigate living through this pandemic.
It’s important for you to know that Nature’s Wisdom has and will continue to operate with respect for the health and safety of our treasured clients and their families as the primary concern. The well being of my own loved ones and myself is also top of mind as I work and consider how to conduct business. I also choose to follow the guidelines set forth by local, state, and federal officials.
Transparency feels critical to help us all choose what feels best for ourselves, so I want to share openly how we are keeping the health of our community a priority inside of the Deerbrush building and within the Nature’s Wisdom offices.
Traffic flow is very low, it is exceedingly rare that you will cross paths with anyone other than me while you are here.
All clients are seen by appointment only and there are no group activities taking place within the building. Holistic Wellness Coaching clients additionally have the option for virtual sessions, let me know if this if your preference.
Kelly, Lara, and Abbie who are the only other providers seeing clients in the space do not often have hours that coincide, and our appointment times are staggered.
Many clients are still being seen via telehealth options and not in person.
We are cleaning touch points each day and our office touchpoints are cleaned between clients. All linens are single use and sanitize in hot water and bleach.
Our HVAC system is set to cycle fresh air through the building at a higher rate than usual.
There are 4 handwashing sinks available through the building and there in hand sanitizer available at the entrance and in each office.
We are all wearing masks.
We care deeply about our clients AND about ourselves.
On a personal level, my own activity is very limited. I consider myself to be acting in a low risk, but not zero risk manner. I do not shop regularly, but always mask and wash hands or sanitize before and after if I do. My daughter rides equestrian in a large open air arena where we are masked and use our own tack and grooming supplies. My children are schooling at home and each have a neighbor friend that they play with outdoors from families that are working and schooling from home. My husband works from home. I have a small, select cohort of people who are living in a similar way that I socialize with sparingly after thoughtful conversation and openness about our activity over the recent weeks.
It’s my hope that by being transparent with my own decisions, that you will feel safe, informed, and able to make a decision about what is in alignment for you. Should cancelling or rescheduling feel better to you, please do so, there is no penalty for cancellations with notice - even short notice - at this time. It's important that you feel safe and able to relax inside of Nature's Wisdom, otherwise the time and money you invest in your appointment is wasted.
Respectfully, I request that anyone entering the building be free of symptoms of any acute and potentially contagious illness, or who was known to have exposure to contagious illness reach out to reschedule for a later date. I will honor and respect you by doing the same.
Together with respect and honesty, we can stay healthy, whole, AND connected.
With so much love and respect,
Erica
